Because of technology like fax and email, you will not need a lot of stock of papers too. With this, you are not only saving space but you are also helping the environment by using less paper.

3. Minimize the powered components - It is also advisable to minimize the use of powered panels that you place per cubicle. You should learn to utilize power strips or walls instead of relying on powered panels. Powered panels are certainly more expensive so you will surely cut on your expenses by utilizing power strips and outlets on walls.

4. Use an open floor plan rather than hard wall office - As we are talking practicality, you should observe an open floor plan with cubicles rather than a hard wall office. You will be able to fit more people in an office with open floor plan type rather than a hard wall office that will consume lots of space.

5. Share space with other small business - If you are just starting and there are only two or three employees working with you then you might want to consider sharing a space with other small businesses with few people too. This way, you can save on the money that you spend for rent while building up your business until you are ready to lease or build your own office space.
